Electronics Painting And Finishing
Europhils applies painting, UV coating and surface finishing to plastic and metal parts within our own factory in Cebu, so finish quality is controlled at the same site that moulds, assembles and tests the product.
Because finishing sits alongside production rather than with an outside supplier, colour, texture and coating consistency are matched to your specification and repeated reliably across every batch, all under European management.
What Is Electronics Painting And Finishing?
Painting and finishing covers the coatings applied to a plastic or metal enclosure after moulding: primer, colour coat, UV-cured topcoat and texture finishes. These coatings determine how a product looks and feels, and they protect it from wear, UV exposure and handling over its working life.
When finishing is subcontracted to a separate supplier, consistency is the first thing to suffer. Colour drifts between batches, coating thickness varies, and parts spend time in transit between the moulding shop and the paint shop before they ever reach assembly. This is a common weak point in China-based supply chains, where finishing is rarely handled by the same company that moulds the part.
At Europhils, painting and finishing run in our own tunnel line, directly alongside moulding and assembly. Reference samples define the standard, and every batch is checked against it before parts move forward.
Painting and finishing with Europhils is the right fit when:
- You need consistent colour and finish across every production batch, not just the first
- You are moving production from China and want finishing brought in-house rather than subcontracted
- Your product needs a durable, UV-cured coating to withstand outdoor use, handling or repeated cleaning
- You want finishing scheduled around your production plan, not around a separate supplier’s queue
- You need texture, gloss or colour matched precisely to a brand specification

- WHY EUROPHILS FOR FINISHING
What Makes Europhils The Right Electronics Painting And Finishing Partner?
Consistent finish is one of the easiest things to lose when it is subcontracted out. These are the factors that matter when deciding who finishes your product.
- In-house means accountable. The same team that moulds and assembles your product also finishes it, so there is no separate supplier to chase when a batch does not match the standard.
- No shipping between mould and paint shop. Parts move directly from moulding to finishing to assembly within one facility, removing a step where damage, delay and inconsistency typically creep in.
- ISO 9001 and 14001 certified. Our quality and environmental systems, including finishing processes, are independently audited.
- Documented reference standards. Colour and finish are defined against agreed reference samples, so the standard is clear and repeatable, not a matter of memory.
- Fast correction. Because finishing sits inside our own facility, adjustments are made immediately, not scheduled around a subcontractor's queue.
- Transparent communication. Our France office keeps you informed and consulted at every decision point affecting finish, timeline or budget.

- FINISHING PROJECT PROCESS
How A Finishing Project Works With Europhils
1. Finish specification: Colour, texture and coating type are agreed with you, referencing Pantone, RAL or a physical sample.
2. Reference sample production: Sample panels or parts are finished and submitted for your approval before production begins.
3. Process setup: Masking, colour mixing and tunnel parameters are configured to match the approved reference sample.
4. First article finishing: Initial parts are finished and checked against the approved reference before the full run proceeds.
5. Adhesion and durability testing: Coatings are tested for adhesion, abrasion resistance and durability against the agreed specification.
6. Production finishing: Parts are finished as part of the scheduled production run, alongside moulding and assembly.
7. In-process quality checks: Finish is inspected at intervals throughout the run, under controlled lighting, against the reference sample.
8. Handover to assembly: Finished parts move directly into assembly within the same facility, with no transit delay.
